    Thank you so much, I just started studying 2 days ago, I am doing my best to at least write SOMETHING in that exam. Do we calibrate the same way when trying to find the diameter in the field of view, or that won't be necessary?

    I think it's one of these tests where you think it was okay but it's so indirect and tricky you'd look at the mark scheme and say how the fudge did they think of that. I thought it was really tricky how they made it look easy but it really wasn't :/

    I am very sorry to ask again, but can someone explain the null hypothesis, where we use the chi square test and if the value is less than the value of the critical value 0.05... I don't understand how to correctly phrase that into an answer :/

    Would you be kind to explain the null hypothesis. ( I love how I discover things right before the exam :'D ) I don't quite understand the phrase: if the probability is less than 0.05 then the null hypothesis is correct and we reject it....why would we reject it if it's correct O.o"
