Hey guys I have conducted several researches on Pakistan-studies and found number of this which CIE wants so here goes
1) In history specially in 14 marks question, Examiner wants you to EXPLAIN and NOT DESCRIBE!! if you describe you will only attract Level 2 marks.
2) Don't use the word "trees" in Geo paper instead use "Plantation" and other geo terms.
3) Word "Fluctuation" is very appropriate for describing graphs.
4) for 7 marks questions write 3 reasons and link them that how did they contributed to what question is demanding.
5) Read all the question more than 1 time. Often a word in Question changes all its meanings.
6) My biggest advice to everyone is that leave out the question in history which contain word "Successful" until you know all the SUCCESSES and FAILURES.
7) Don't forget to give the opinion. It contains 1 marks.
8) you have about 90 mins for both the papers. for history spend 25 mins on each questions. 3 mins on 4 marks. 5 mins on 7 marks and rest 13 mins on 14 marks question.
9) Remember Length is not counted rather quality of an answer is.
10) Don't write all you know in 14 marks question. The biographies are not to be written in 14 marks neither 7 marks. they are only useful for 4 marks.

there are two types of 14 marks questions
1) which contains statement like "Simla Conference" for this
-write 1-9 marks for statement. EXPLAIN THE STATEMENT
-Write 1-4 marks for EXPLAINING TWO other factors.
-1 marks for opinion.
2nd method
it is applied on questions which contain the word "How Successful" for this write
-Success
-Failure
-Success
-Failure
-Opinion
Hope this clears up everything and DESCRIBING and EXPLAINING are NOT the same thing so note the basic difference and then write. !!
