AOA,It is clearly written in CIE syllabus of Pakistan studies paper 1 in the table given for the requirements of 4,7 and 14 mark q that in 7 mark:

one part testing knowledge and understanding (includes selecting relevant and appropriate
information). Answers require two paragraphs of writing. [7 marks]

SO WHY ALL THE MEMBERS HERE SAY THAT 3 REASONS ARE REQUIRED IN THREE DIFFERENT PARAGRAPHS THOUGH THE SYLLABUS STATES THAT THERE MUST BE 2 PARAS.PLZ CLEAR UP THE CONFUSION......

accordin to da lvl markin in da syllabus content, marks 5 to 7 are for justifyin three points...to get lvl 3...!!!which is da highst lvl fr 7mark q..!!
thats why to justify your examiner three points it is advisd to write 3 paras..!!!

and anyway, they say requires!!! not tht its the limit. they need three reasons clearly mentioned. to everyone writes them in three paragraphs separately to be on the safe side =)

In 7 marks qs you have to describe the three main reasons and that's how you'll achieve high marks otherwise you'll only get 3 or 4..

4 marks: it is simple. 4 facts about the person or event are required.
7 marks: It's better and safer to write 3 reasons because sometimes it gets difficult to write it all in 2 paras in a systematic way.Other than this in every para, 3 references should be given (e.g date) if a person requires all seven marks.
14 marks: The reason written in the question must be explained followed by explanation of 2 more reasons from our side.
