A* in sciences

Hey guys, you think I can get an a* if I lost a total of 25marks in all three papers combined :O?

Yes if the GT is low. Well it's around 70-ish to 75-ish anyway; but don't get your hopes up too high.

Well I was wondering about bio mostly, don't think I've done too well to be honest :S

Paper 1's still to go! Give it your best attempt and you never know what might happen.

What was the total marks available. 160 or 200? But 25 wrong....You might get an A*, if you're unlucky, you get A. You just have to hope that other people did as worse than you.

Yeah man hopefully, I think i'll lose a 5-7 marks on p6, almost 12-15 on p3 :/
If I can get a 38+ I think i might be able to get an A* i really do hope so :O

If you can manage to do that well on the papers then nobody will be able to stop you from getting an A*, my friend.

I've done chemistry before and did get an A* and surely lost over 20 marks, but overall chemistry carries much more marks than the other sciences

But it gets converted to 200
So if you get 140/160 it'll become 175/200. That's how they grade, imho

for the bio its 134/200 for an A they convert the 160 to an A , by multiplying paper 3 by 1.25 and paper 1 by 1.5 paper 6 stays the same
