As mentioned above, i am quite confused what to do. Should I either go for A levels or try my luck in F.Sc! I am a pre-engineering student and I have finished my O Levels! The thing is people say that there is no future in Pakistan after A Levels so I should better go for F.Sc. I really want to do A Levels. And Secondly, it would be tough for me to understand the pattern of F.Sc and it might ruin my Intermediate result and I heard in F.Sc they not only assess knowledge but also prefer good writing no cutting and no editing and this would create a lot of problems for me. Thats why I prefer A level!! Plz help me I am quite confused!!

A-level anytime. You shouldn't have second thoughts about this.

But relations near me are pressurizing me to do F.Sc! and if i want to do A levels then i must earn like 8A*s! but i cant get 8A*s :/

8 A*s in A-level for admission in Pakistani Universities? You have got to be kidding me!

Im talking about O Levels if i get 8A*s then i should do A levels :p

Getting 8A*s is not a must. Just make sure no grade is less than a B, and you will be good. An equivalence of 80%+ will give you enough space to do well in you Entry Tests and get admission in those aforementioned universities.

That was my honest opinion.

All the best.

can u help me Nibz with UET admission criteria! will it take students having in their O/A Level result( after equvilance ) 80% marks or above! like i heard if you want to go in UET you should have 90% marks?

Entry Test matters more than anything for admission in a good Pakistani University. But just getting a place in some university is not an achievement in itself. Achievement is when you cope well with the university pressure, understand the curriculum, the books, and take advantage of the resources available.
A-level provides you with the skills to do well while you're in the university, too, unlike F.Sc. If you have a clear objective in life, go for A-level. If you just want to go to UET just for the sake of its name, then go for F.Sc.

sorry i was off the topic but I am planning of doing SAT2 so that i score good and my admission is based on mostly on SAT2 score :)

SAT is just a substitute for your entry test. It's not a qualification.
