A-level subject selection!

Assalam-o-alaikum..

so i'm going to start my A-levels, and i was a bit confused about the subjects.. I want to study software engineering and basically to apply for any engineering University in Pakistan, you gotta have Physics, Maths and chemistry, which i intend to keep in A-levels.. plus i'll have English as an extra subject.. However i wanted to know if its necessary to keep AICT as well.. I mean its not a requirement! right?

Any help would be appreciated!

No, you are not required to have AICT in A-level to get admission in software engineering.
