A2 and AS exams

Hello everybody, I did the IGCSE this year in May/June and I'll do the A-Level in the next two years.
I wonder if I do the A2 exams I can still have the As.

Imagine this, I do all the exams for Mathematics (all mechanics, all statistics and the other two) but in the ones that are specific for A2 I have a bad mark and in the others I have an excellent mark. Can I stay with the As ones and forget the A2 part, or I have to stay with all?
