About the Edexcel Specifications

I am talking about IGCSE BIOLOGY, but i guess this should apply to any edexcel qualification .
I have printed the edexcel igcse biology specificaton from edexcel.com. If i follow the specification, will i be able to get high grades? Because, the book has many extra information, that are not listed on the specification, and i am not able to learn them now, since only 1 day left for the exam . Any suggestions are kindly accepted. Please help me out !

if the stuff in the book are not listed in the specification, then there is no need for you to learn them ... but you can only read them for more information , the exam brings nthn more than wot is in the specification .
