I got the answer as A but in the ms its written C

I think the answer is C because
465000-(1000000*8%)-(300000*5%)= 370000
i am not sure though

Cost of machinery disposed= (190+105)-245+50 =$50000
Loss in disposal=$10000
Depriciation of machinery disposed= (75+40)-90= $25000
Therefore cash recieved on disposal = $50000-($25000+$10000)=$15000

So 30000 will be distributed among X and Y eqqually..
