How did we get the angle OCT as 75? how?

30+45=75
We know that wind is coming from the north-west direction. So it makes a 45 degrees angle with the vertical. You can place the vector of wind at the end of the vector of plane. As shown in the diagram the angle between OC and vertical is 30 degrees which is the alternate angle to the one given already in the question. So 45+30=75.

Yar, 'North-West' means the vector has a 45 degrees angle with the vertical and a 45 degrees angle with the horizontal. Just remember the compass rule. Ever quadrant is 90 degrees. North-West bisects the 90 degrees.
