So whenever there is a negative sign with the amplitude, the maximum and minimum signs are reversed? However, the amplitude is always positive, right?

Can anyone please reply fast? I desperately need help regarding this.
when there is a -ve sign before the trigonometrical function eg. "-cosx" the curve is reflected or if u want it is reversed!!!>.
