suppose u need to calculate ur marks 4 biology... i suppose u do bio..
p2 is on 80 marks bt weightage= 50%
suppose u get 72 out of 80, then to obtain ur marks on 50, u take 72/80 multiply by 50..
its the same thng there: look well..
n ok, i did the same thing the first tym, bt i gave u a reason y i changed:
the boy scored an average of 30 marks in the 3 tests...
suppose at school, ur teacher gave u 3 tests..
u scored 32/50 in the 1st 1, 31/50 in the 2nd 1, 30/50 in the third 1, now the teacher says 1st test will count 4 20%, 2nd 4 30%, n 3rd 4 50%
whatever percentage u take, in total u scored 93/150, which is more than 50 over 100, n its exactly the same case there in the matrix...
n u tell me, u get 30 over 100???
u r wrong once again, coz the mark u calculated is nt on 50 bt on 100, see >>>> 20%+ 30%+50% =100%....
ur answer is self-contradictory..
plizz, if sm1 can contact an experienced n reliable teacher 4 this ?, pliz do so!!!

the guy got 61.4 / 50. DUDE FORGET EVERYTHING, THE GUYS A GENIUS. before you reply thank god that the people in cambridge university are not nuts, then this guy might have scored smthin like 250 / 160 in add maths. Then if percentile system was still in effect, we would have been screwed

bro my dads a doctor and he is friends with a really good psychiatrist. i think he can help you. Each test was of 50 marks. 20% of 50 is 10 marks, 30% of 50 is 15 marks and 50% of 50 is 25. Add all those up it makes 50. so we have to take the total out of 50. IF the paper had asked for PERCENTAGE then u would have been correct.

the answer was 30.7 and to get an A* you need to get i think around 154/160 minimum

the first two were the same n the fist matrix multiplication, i gt the same answer as others.. only the third matrix, was like
20/50= 0.4 .... n so on... thats y my answer was twice 30.7..
if am wrong, i'll lose 1 mark for the third matrix n 1 mark 4 the accuracy bkoz i didnt get the answert ..
shit man...
i got 30.7 bt dunno what came across my mind n i crossed it!!

no, am nt doubting myself... i saw my paper again, n we can interpret the ? in two ways..
it tells u 20% of the mark he obtains..
he obtained 32/50
so i took 32/50 multiply by 20%{ 0.2}
n thts how i obtained the answr..
nonetheless, if u r telling me that u take 20% of 50 itself, which gives 10 marks, then i hav sm doubts..
i was said to find the total no. of marks, i.e sum of the 20% of..., 30% of...., n 50% of ...
i wont argue, bkoz, we can both be right ..
forget abt this, even if i lost sm marks in this ?, all the others, i gt them right...
