Yeah but I was getting a value which wasn't applicable and then I got stuck. So I put in random digits till I got the answer
probablyI meant the answer for one of the questions. Will they accept my working?
There was obviously one answer...you can't put two values in the calculstor for that function and get the same answer. My value turned out to be correct, but I found it using trial and error. I solved the question half way through and then applied it, but I didn't end up getting the value, I plugged it into the equation that I formed...will they cut a mark if I did thatThere was only one answer 2. That was given in the question's first part.
One factor was given. that was the only answerThere was obviously one answer...you can't put two values in the calculstor for that function and get the same answer. I only got one answer! But I used trial and error to get it. Are u sure u know which question I'm talking about brw :SOne factor was given. that was the only answer
For the factors...there were three answersOne factor was given. that was the only answer

You had to use the quadratic formula to find the other roots :SThere was only one REAL root to the function.
You had to use the quadratic formula to find the other roots :S
yeah. You had to show the working. A marks are dependant on M marks. Answer was 10.If I used trial and error in the binomial question, will they cut marks for that too?
I put my x2 values together and then plugged in values. So how many marks will they cut?yeah. You had to show the working. A marks are dependant on M marks. Answer was 10.
you will probably get the M and A mark for putting the x^2 valuesI put my x2 values together and then plugged in values. So how many marks will they cut?
What are the M and A marks? How many marks will they cut?you will probably get the M and A mark for putting the x^2 values
