Advice needed about taking SAT

I am going to start As level this year and i plan to apply to Agha Khan later. I have no plans of going to USA, but i have heard that AKU ppl need SAT score plus that the knowledge helps with the admission test. So can anyone guide whether i should give SAT or not?
