check question number 9. the examiner report "marks" D as the correct answer but then comments in favor of C. the examiner says that goblet cells produce enzymes, i searched Wikipedia and other sites which contradict the statement by saying that goblet cells produce mucus. so is there a mistake in the examiner report??
and question number 29 shows a food web. As the tree is just one, why isnt the answer B?

answer for 29 znt B cuz the bar of tree, the second bar,the third one are all same........difference comes in fourth one......as the energy level reduces ata each level so only enough energy is there for a few animals and they obviously cant be larger in no than the third bar

AoA!
For question 9, as far as I know the correct answer would be D (so the er has to wrong). A goblet cell always produces mucus and the villi secrete digestive enzymes. Isn't that so?

Question 29: A is correct. @izzahzainab: no parasites are involved in this food chain. Since there is just one tree, you could consider both A and B. But then the examiner tests this knowledge: the number of organisms usually decreases down a food chain (since there no parasites here). B is incorrect simply because the number of tertiary consumers cannot be greater than that of the secondary consumers.

Plus, always remember that the average size of the population of the secondary consumers is usually greater than that of the tertiary consumers.
