Hi! New to the forum and am a private candidate and was looking for some help. I also did my IGCSE's as a private candidate.

I am using the text book by John Butterworth and Geoff Thwaites + a lot of mock papers (thank you xtremepapers;)). Was wondering if any one here is doing/done this subject and if anyone has more resources + help.

Thanks
Alana.:)

Hi LioxMessi!
Thanks for the help and just an update i found out there are no more booklets so sorry for bugging you.
Meanwhile if you have or someone who is doing or done thinking skills could help by sharing resources or even their experiences that would be great.:)

Thank again

No worries.
As for the preparation part, the book you're currently using + The booklet I've provided are the only resources you need. Use the book to understand basics you need to be aware of, like what an argument really is, how an argument can be recognized and how an analysis can be given after going through arguments etc. After learning all these basics practice the case studies present in the past papers and apply the skills you've learned + Use the booklet to study the requirements of the best answers. Don't study the problem solving part (paper 1) from the book, the material isn't useful, just practice the past papers for this one.
No other material is useful for it's preparation, all you need is a 7 year past paper practice to get handy with the exam technique.

Thanks a lot for your help AGAIN, I really am getting in to the bad habit of bothering you on small issues, sorry.:(
Just curious (though I know curiosity kills the cat) what are you currently doing because you seem to be a very informative and helpful person on this forum.

Thanx a ton:)
