Can somebody tell me that is Beaconhouse canal side boys campus better or Johar town campus for A lvl? And when is the session for A2 going to begin?

p.s: i also have an option to go to newlands boarding.

Well so far... i have been hearing how good ALGC is,..but not sure about the other too campuses...... and as far as newlands is concerned, from what i have researched(as i am gonna join it this September), hostel is quite good, and the teachers are good too, but some say its ok, considering that some of the teachers are from BDC.....

I'm not from Beaconhouse, but I have friends who study in ALGC, BDC, Newlands and Canal Side Campus. So what I'm going to tell you is based on their experiences and not my opinion.

According to them, you should never set foot in ALGC if you actually want to study. It's good for fun and all, but not if you're serious about your studies. In fact, two of them have left it now after their first year of A Levels.
Newlands? One word: No.
Canal Side and BDC are good when it comes to academics and 'shugal', especially BDC, but the chances are high that if you're not a really 'cool' type of guy, you won't fit in there (once again, especially at BDC).
As for the Johar Town one, I'm not sure about that but I've heard good things about it and it shares a few teachers with LGS, too, so the faculty is good. A few teachers have taught at my school, LGS JT.

Are you sure you want to go to beaconhouse or do you have other options as well?

Well i cant argue with that, considering m not form lahore and my comment was based on the remarks of some of the people there......
But may i ask, because i plan to go there.... why not newlands???

From what I've heard from my friends, Newlands is an incredibly boring place and at the same time, the studies there aren't good. So it's like a lose-lose situation. You're getting nothing. And apparently, a lot of the students are out of Lahore and you can't really relate with them the same way as you would with a fellow Lahori. And there are other threads on this site where others have also discouraged from going to Newlands. Once again, this isn't my opinion. I don't have anything against these schools. And you should keep in mind that most people like to badmouth their school, so it's possible that it's not as bad.

well ALGC is my first priority as i have heard about its good faculty and it is also co.The johar town branch looks more like a mosque so i prefer not going there.and i am used to cope up with tafree and studies at the same time so that wont be a problem for me.

Yup, cant do it coz of the full stop........ but i guess since u know him, u can ask him thru his wall/personal-convo to help us out here!!!
