Applications of Mathematics in medicine?

Hello guys ^^
I need your advice ... I am currently deciding which subjects to study for AS/A-level, so I was wondering if Maths is really important ? ;I want to study medicine in the future inshaAllah , so I was wondering if math is really essential or its just going to be a waste of time?

Not really most Universities need Chemistry and Biology and one from( physics or Mathematics)
