I always forget reference numbers. If they are important, any tips on learning them?

They are not necessary but its good if you write them. Also, if you clearly mention the references's source for e.g from surah no 2(or name) Holy Quran or Prophet said on this event or Quran in chapter 12 says.. then you're good to go

its not. I didnt write and got an A*, so did almost all of my class mates.
