PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY ANSWER IS D !!!???!!
For the second question,
Lysosomes contain hydrolytic enzymes therefore they have the highest hydrolytic activity hence the answer is D.
For the first question,
In case of Amino acids, peptide bonds are also known as covalent bonds hence the covalent bonds remain in tact means that the promary structure of urea remains unchanged:)

thanks for clearing up my doubt for second question, got confused by wording of question
for second q: i get that peptide bonds are also covalent but arent hydrogen bonds covalent too so why A over B?

PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY ANSWER IS D !!!???!!

for the first question all the bonds will be broken except covalent which is the peptide bonds and the primary structure has peptide bond only and it will not change

for the second question it says hydrolytic enzyme and it is found in the lysosyme which has the digesting ( hydrolytic enzyme ) so it has the highest activity

if helpfull Like ...... :)

As part of chemistry, Hydrogen bonds are a type of covalent bond (coordinate bond), but in the scope of Biology, they are not strictly considered as covalent bonds. You should just know that peptide bonds are covalent and strongest bonds in polypeptides, then disulfide, then ionic, then hydrogen and lastly hydrophobic interactions. :)
