I'm thinking about maybe giving the AS Economics paper in the Oct/Nov session this year.
Is it possible to cover all the syllabus within that amount of time?
I'm also gonna be taking it privately so I won't have a teacher.
Should I bother?

So I should do it as a whole A2 in June?
'cause that's still the same amount of time.
And this way, if I get bad I still have a chance to re-sit.
Meh, I dunno.

Thanks for your input guys.
I probably end up taking it in November.
I mean, if I can teach myself AS chemistry, then AS economics can't be that hard, can it? ;p

hey,

definitely go for the paper. You can do it just if you are serious. I gave five o-level papers after just studying them in 3 months. I am a o-level science student but to give more subjects i gave o-levels in nov'10 and got straight A(s).

I am giving Accelerated economics this year, and I'm sure one can do it if he/she plans it whole properly.

In my opinion GO FOR IT!

and all the best...!

one little piece of advice. DO NOT skip math. giv math priority. it myt b tuf for u initially but if u hav da ryt teachers, itll turn out to be better, but DONT leave it out. take all of it even the A2

I think I'll die if I gave A2 maths aswell. I'd have like one year to do the whole thing (I'm taking my A2 exams in June next year).
It's also my worst subject!
I'm only taking AS to make up for the B I got in my GCSEs - it was my only B, the rest were As and A*s.
But thank you for the advice. :)
