AS levels Edexcel

Hi everyone,
I'm a CIE student, but I want to know more about A levels Edexcel. Do you have a syllabus for Chemistry like CIE? How many papers are there for Chemistry AS levels and when are the examinations conducted?

Can I take the AS levels only in Edexcel? Or I won't get a certificate unless if I did the A levels too?

If you take "International Alevels", than AS is a stand-alone qualification.

Is there any practical exams for the Chemistry AS levels, or is it just alternative to practicals? Is paper 3 a practical paper or alternative?

Uhm, If you're taking Edexcel IAL.. then there is an alternative to practical written exam [International], (Unit 3).. however if you're taking Edexcel GCE, then the unit 3 has course work not the ATP written exam

GCE / New GCE has course work for Unit 3, while IAL has Alternative to practical for unit 3.

Similarly, GCE sessions are only offered in June, while IAL is offered in both January and June.

Hi there!
I want to sit for three IAl subjects, namely, Math, Physics and Chem. I have been confused by Maths. In IAL, students must take C12, C34 and two optional units. Any can help me with what C12 and C34 are? Do they mean that C1 and C2 were Combined together to form C12 likewise C3 and C4 were combined together to form C34?
Also, i'll be happy, if you can help me with Maths AS Activebook.
