AS math P1 help needed

Hey everyone,
I need help in AS Math P1. I've been solving past papers but I always get stuck in the range and domain questions in functions. Can anyone clear my concepts about these two. No matter how many questions I solve, I always forget and get confused.

SEE.... Domain is the disribution of values of x and range is the distribution of values of y....
for e.g graph of 2sinx (0<x<360)
now the domain for this graph is the distribution of x i.e x goes from 0 to 360
and the range is of distribution of y i.e -2 to 2 .....
HOPE U GET IT!
