how does root cells synthesis starch ???? i cant understand what the hell is this !! pls help !!

root hair cell absorbs nitrates ions . remeber startch is CHO and protein is CHON . nitrates ion is carried in xylem to leaf where is combines with glucose to make protein CHO + N = CHON . protein is then transportted as ammino acid to rest of cell to be used for growth and repair . hope this helps

Genetic enginering is removing gene from speceis then add it to another

Bacteria has a special strand of DNA called plasimd this which makes is speacial .
lets say we want to modifly a plasmid to make insulin....

fist we need to take a gene from a organism which makes insulin (specific gene which codes for insulin production
then we need to extract the plasmid out of bacteria then cutting a gap through the plasmid using restriction enzyme ( cutting enzyme)
then we add the gene which produces insulin to gap then using a sticking enzyme we attach gene to plasmid .
place modified plasmid back into a new bacteria
place bacteria to grow in feminter and produce insulin .

Artificial selection is when organisms are specifically bred together by farmers, so that advantageous characteristics are passed on..

it is when humans select speceis with the charactaristics they want or need to breed together to make a combination of the charateristic they want .
so for example a fast horse and a strong horse when u breed them offspring is fast and strong (simple example)
