Using a measuring cylinder, transfer probably 25cm3 of water into a polystyrene cup.
Measure the initial temperature of the solution.
Add know mass of CuSO4.5H2O into the water.
Stir the mixture and using a thermometer measure the final temperature of the solution.

why isnt it b-a ? isnt the formula normally B-A?

No there are two formulas

Combustion : Reactants - Products

Formation: Products - Reactants

Since both arrows are pointing down ; we assume it's similar to Combustion. Therefore it will be A - B
