guide me if any one knows a key to the following question....the mass defect of iron is greater than uranium since its binding energy is greater than uranium....its mass number is less than uranium then how come its ratio of mass defect to mass number is less than uranium....i have a graph in ma book that shows this...???

binding energy is MAX for iron... if u luk at da graph, it'll peak at iron....
since E is greater, change in mass will also be greater acc 2 E=mc^2...
