They are asking you what will happen when the potato is immersed in a more dilute solution, which has a more +ve water potential.
When the potato has been immersed, water will enter the potato, causing the water potential of the solution to become more negative (less water in the solution).. and the water potential of the cell to become less negative (more water in the cells)..therefore, the answer cant be B, C or D
It has to be A - (The pressure potential of the cells become more positive.)...because the pressure potential makes the water potential less negative and is therefore more positive.

when water content increases the potential will go more towards zero!
