Reaction with first and last are confirmed. So it can't be A. (The first reaction will form nylon and the second will form terylene).
Now, it won't react with the second (since the COOH group is there) and it will react with the hydrogen(s) of the the third. Answer should be C but the third linkage is a combined linkage of both ester and amino which is :confused:.

But mercury conducts electricity very well as it is a liquid metal and contains free ions
