how do spindle formation occurs in plants when there are no centrioles...is there any other organelle

well m nt sure 4 the ans of ur ques bt i think that though der r no centrioles ; spindles directly start to form......i guess m nt sure 4 it..... :)

there are microtubule organising centres in plant cells that form spindles during nuclear division...

Actually during late telophase, cytokinesis occurs. Plant cells do not have appearant organisers of mitotic spindles. However, spindles are formed.

During metaphase, vesicles originate from golgi apparatus and line up accordingly at the equator of the spindle. At cytokinesis, these vesicles fuse together to form a membrane like structure called Phragmoplast. The membrane of vesicles form cell membrane and the cesicles contain materials like pectin and cellulose for cell wall formation.
