Biology Help needed-->Amylose in starch!

I am in need of help once again!Plz explain me this sentence which is about amylose:''Forms a helix with 6 glucose molecules per turn and about 300 per helix.''

A helix means a spiral... So ther r many turns in a helix lyke turns in a spring...here amylose has a spiral structre with 6 aminos per turn n 300 per a whole helix. Hope tht helps
