Relationship between structure and function of Haemoglobin and Collagen.
can sum budy exlain this ? plzz

they are both proteins though collagen is fibrous protein and haemoglobin is globular protein.

fibrous are usually insoluble and have structural roles. collagen is the protein found in outer layer of skin.

globular proteins are curled up into a ball with hydrophillic R grouops pointing out and hydrophobic R groups pointing inwards. Haemoglobin has four haem molecules which contain iron. they combine with oxygen to form oxyhaemoglobin.
