From part B we got that without tail are heterozygous, and it was talking about cross 1 that is without tail x without tail

therefore it will be like Tt x Tt (let T be without tail and t with tail)
So ratio of offsprings
will be 3:1
withou tail : with tail

Total offspring are 40 + 72 = 112

112 x 3/4 = 84
112 x 1/4 = 28
