Error bars can tell whether the means differ significantly or not...
formula = mean +- ( 2x standard error)
now as you draw the bars on the graph, plot there corresponding error bars, if the bars overlap, their is no such significant difference b/w the means and if the error bars do not overlap, the means differ significantly cos of a number of reasons...

like give me steps ... can uu ...
experiment for respiration of certain sugars is carried
lets say S E = 2 for sugar fructose
lets say S E = 1 for sugar glucose

lets say mean for frcutose = 62
lets say mean for glucose = 51

12 readings are taken for each sugar and imagine it is filled with 24 values

now they ask
Use the grid to plot the data in Table to show the difference in the mean
population size of yeast supplied with fructose and yeast supplied with glucose.
Include error bars.

now i get that we make a bar chart with fructose and glucose ... but how to plot the error bars ?
