first question will be on 12 leaves of which 6 were kept in light and 6 in shade. leaves in light were smaller, and in shade were bigger. widths are to be measured and recorded in the given table, we have to find the mean also. The second part asks to extend the experiment further. Third part gives you cross section of both leaves and asks you to write down the differences and how these helped them in adapting to their environment.

Second question is on sensing the pin. they have 2 pins attached to a cork and they place it slightly on the student's skin at diff places like finger tips, forearm, etc. they ask you which is the most sensitive and which is the least and the reason for your answer.

In the third question they ask you to draw the granule in the cells of a tuber which will be shown in a photo. Calculate the magnification of your drawing.
then comes the food tests, their colours and conclusion.

The last question is on meosis, cell division and they ask you to label chromosome and cytoplasm in the picture.

I wrote to place the shade developed leaves in light and observe changes and record.
other possibility could be to take more leaves of the same type and test for starch in leaves kept in light and in shade. Compare and record the results, how can these differences be related to light.

differences were regarding palisade cells, chloroplasts, air spaces, and thickness. I wrote that shade leaves don't photosynthesise much so they take up less water and therefore less transpiration takes place. So, less air spaces allowed for less surface area and hence, less evaporation. Shade leaves had abundant chloroplasts in palisade cells, this was to make use of even the little light they receive for photosynthesis.

Fingertips most sensitive, forearm least because more touch receptors in finger tips.

What type of cell div. takes place in gametes, what is its importance? give example of a part of a plant involving meosis.
