these are all my DOUBTS ABOUT THIS EXAM ........

1. It was 1 in 2, which is 50%. Sorry if you got it wrong.

2. Answer is D because growth is an increase in dry mass and dry mass started to increase at D (if y-axis was dry mass)

3. Last question was B ie. place nearest site of sewage dumping.

Water vapour moves out by diffusion. 100% sure. It was in a past paper.

@exampasser Cant that growth question be C,bcuz see u said that growth is increase in dry mass so growth will occur at C which will cause the dry mass to increase :shock:

To be honest Math Angel, I can't remember the graph properly now because i had a long, 2 hour, economics paper today. I remember the graph went up at D. I can't remember where point C was :(

I think C was at the bottom of the graph, like the straight bit, I think.

Till C the mass decresed and at this point it started to increase

Consider this past question, the answer was C. As growth is defined as increase in number of cells, we may be right in the answer of D for our question.

Helloo everyone..
I think bio exams were pretty easy...

the genetics ques was tough.... it was just a communication error on the CIE side...

I think its 1 in 1 because it is asking the probability that the next child is a non taster...The first child is a taster, and since the ratio is 1:1 i.e 50%, the probability that the next child is taster should be 100% or nearly... so it is 1 in 1..

I hope this is the answer.... if I am wrong then the answer is 1 in 2..


The dry mass was D (where growth occured, and the graph increased), and the question about the process during increase of mass is A. Absorption of water..

0 Cell walls in Liver Cells

Sewage question - B , closest to the sewage...

The number of chloroplasts - B 0,17,6

Thats all i remember :D

Hey guys dies anyone remember the question where the guy was blowing a balloon? What is the CO2 composition in the air? 4% right. Options were A) 0.04% B) 0.4% C) 4% and D) 40%.

hey can some1 help me...for d last ques #40
my answer was D bcuz i thout d river was flowin
so d sewage would end up in the ocean and would not
stay at B n eutrophication would not occur where d river was
continuously flowing but im rly not sure... :p

For sewage, it isn't about eutrophication. It's when sewage means increase in bacteria, they respire aerobically, and so use up the oxygen. Closest point to source of sewage is B. If it was D, as water flows downstream, mixes with 'fresh' water, so less sewage concentration.
