My advice would be to study from the Biology IGCSE Study Guide. It's really helpful and summarizes all the main points.

which year question paper is dis 4rm ?
• Describe the role of the fungus Penicillium in the production of antibiotic penicillin
WELL, Mould fungus grows on decaying vegetable, damp leather and citrus fruits. A branching hyphae spread thru the material on which the fungus grows and absorbs food from it. the network hyphae that grow over or through the food material is called the mycellium. The mycellium grows over the food, digesting it and absorbing nutrients, providing less or no nutrients for the bacteria to grow, when taking in agar dish round the margins of the mould have a clear zone with no bacteria growing . As a substance is diffused out of the mould colony it kills the bacteria growth.

Hope i did it correctly. But can youstill tell me which year question is this 4rm, i dont seem to recall which year it is.
