yup one was clear oil and water other was cloudy water and oilHey but it also said explain your observations...did u guys do that?
I did write so, the onion must be stained with some dye to observe the clear plasmolysis.

Yup. It was that. My teacher later confirmed that it was 0.3 mol/ dm^3 to be exact.hey wat did u ppl write for S4 concentration..
its suppose to be between 0.2 moldm-3 nd o.4 moldm-3
dang and there goes my marksYou can't add a dye. There is a reason why they didn't give us iodine in the first place. Because that will further cause error in the experiment. The concentration of dye will also have to be taken into account, as that will effect the water potential of the surroundings. So dye was not a possibility.
