Well if this thread is working out, may i post my questions here too..??!!
(I'm posting them anyway)
1.Like penicillin, mycoprotein is made in a fermenter. However , when mycoprotein is made, there is no stirrer in the fermenter. Why??
2.The microorganisms that you grow in a lab might be harmful for humans. What should you do after you have finished with your experiments of growing microbes in the petri dish?

we cover them in paper bag throw away the petri dishes, another not-so-safe way is to sterilise them in chlorinated hot water bath

The answer is A. Since the person is homozygous recessive for the condition,the probability that his children will inherit it FROM HIM is obviously 0 since he does not possess an allele for the condition.

but how can we deduce any result if we dont know the genotype of the partner. like if we cross nn * NN then all of the offsprings will be Nn (carrying the disease)

person X cant transmit polydactyly in a family as he is homozygous recessive for that .. meaning he wont b carryin any traits of polydactyly .. it will be from his partner that if their offspring will carry the traits ,.. not coz of manX

Yes. Read the question again: it specifically mentions if his children could inherit polydactyly from him. That means him and him alone!
