Someone pls explain Nov2009 Paper2 Q 3 (c)

In this question the reference to the valves must be given and their role in transporting blood in one direction is to be understood. Namely aortic valve closes preventing the blood to flow back to left ventricles and sending blood through coronary blood vessels to the heart muscles.
