can anyone provide me notes on the above topics??
An astable circuit has no stable state, i.e it changes from one state to the other at a constant rate.
Examples: Indicator Lights of vehicles & pulse generator.

And a bistable circuit has two stable states. (It is made using two NAND gates or two NOR gates )
Example: Shop counters & Electrical Memories of computers.

'npn-transistor' is a transistor that has a layer of p-type semiconductors sandwiched between two layers of n-type semiconductors. (Google p-type and n-type semiconductors, if you don't know these terms)
