It was pretty good, easier than I expected. But there was hardly anyone doing the exam, only one other guy from my class.

Really??It was pretty good, easier than I expected. But there was hardly anyone doing the exam, only one other guy from my class.
Really??
We had some 30-40 people attempting it
Hmm i see. Well in our school, we dont really drop subjects mid yearWhen we first started we had about 25, but then everyone started dropping the subject, and then we ended up with about 8 from all classes...
And good luck for your results!
questions were easy but i kinda feel like a i messed some stuff up ....
i wanted to write more but yah .. i think its due to lack of past paper practice
inshallah it went well .... paper 2 is 120 ....i have to nail it
even though there is a long gap .. business p2 is right in between economies and computer uuuughh
yah i find p2 better than p1 but still ganna work really hard for it inshallahComp is p2, which is pretty easy (at least for me it is)
Is economics hard? I do Accounts which is really easy but the last exam is on 10th June
Thank you soooooo much !!! What about sociology ?? I'm having difficulties studying the material any ideas on how to study it ??Usually a lot of things. I would emphasis focus on:-
1) Government and business activity- Possibility of 6 mark question on this
2) Finance and Accounting- I am sure there will be one question on this
3) Marketing+the Marketing mix- Definitely one question on this
4) Multinational companies+globalisation+export/import-Most probably combined, but standalone questions are also possible.
5) Management and Motivation- Can be combined with topics
6) Communication in business organisation and organisational structure- Again can be combined. This is usually combined with the Management or with Multinational Companies.
7) Production methods
Be sure to learn all your definitions. Igcse is very likely to repeat the following definitions :-
What is - primary/secondary market research, Working capital and other accounting terms, multinational business, globalisation, tarrifs/quotas, autocratic or democratic leader, partnership or plc or public company, stages of economic cycle, flow/job/batch production.
I'll do some more research and add it here

Thnx mate!!http://www.igcsecentre.com/cambridge-igcse-past-exam-papers/
This website has all the past papers, and they've sorted it by year, so its pretty convenient.
Note- The 2014 paper is missing. Idk why.
As for Case Study for Paper 2, just be thorough with your textbook. I feel that the textbook is actually pretty useful for Paper 2.
There's going to be four 8 mark questions and four 12 mark questions.
What I recommend you to do is prepare a for or against side for particular things in business. So prepare on stuff like:-
1) Advantages and disadvantage of Sole Traders, Partnerships, Private ltd and Public companies. Franchises may come, but its unlikely, since joint venture has been asked in Paper 1. Nevertheless, be prepared for this.
2) Methods of carrying out Market Research- Interviews, questionnaires, panel etc
3) Mergers and Takeovers.
4) Methods of sales promotion. Cover Methods of Advertising also
5) On the Job and Off the Job training
6) Location factors i.e. choosing between 2/3 location
7) Calculation of total costs, roce and other accounting formulas
8) Production methods. Not too sure about this, but it would be good to read up on job.flow and batch production
9) Trade Unions/ Methods of motivation
10) Channels of Distribution. The question may ask about alternative channels of distribution. Again not too sure. Its a possibility
11) Types of economies/ employment laws/ whether government should help businesses.
As of now, this is all that I can remember. Give me 3-4 days, I'll analyse some trends in the Paper 2s, and I'll try to predict which topics are most likely.
From this list, I'd tell you to focus a lot on topic 1,2,4,6,7,9,10,11.
Hope this helps a bit
