I GOT THE FRIKKIN TRAPEZIUM RULE WRONG! and guess what the worst part is? The trapezium rule is IN THE FORMULAE BOOKLET!

And the other stuff like g and whatever, I still don't get where on earth you do the calculation in that? If suppose 2(3^3) + 4(3^2) - 18 = 0, and 2(3^3y) + 4(3^2y) - 18 also = 0, then HOW CAN y BE A DECIMAL THING? Please help me out here :/

You do x= 3^y
then you take the solutions from the second part (after factorisation)
there was x = 3, -2, and 3/2 (i think)

3^y = 3
3^y = 3/2

use log to solve

After you get the equation you let cos@ (theta) = y.

You'll get a quadratic. 4y^2 + 2y - 1 I think it was, not sure though.

You'll need to use the quadratic formula to solve this. You get two decimals, 0.609 or whatever.

Then you say cos@ (theta) = your answers and then solve for theta

man in garden question i used 2pi-0.64 instead of pi so i lost around 5 marks in peremter and area i think i get 2 marks for finding area of triangle 2 marks for cosine rule finding a side

U'll get more than 4 marks becuz error carried forward marks r in every question, u'll probably get 6 or 7 if everything else wuz correct.

and the differentation question did a stupid mistake in finding x i mean i differentiated and did everything but last algebra step made a stupid mistake so i got a wrong hence and hence a wrong y :/
and last question of the circle found a wrong side stupid mistake in signs thus i got a wrong value of PT

There r always marks purely for da method and independent of da final answer, so u wont lose dat many matks really.

Maybe like last January as this paper was easier than January 2013 I feel.

My answers:
r:2/3 p:8 Sn=15:50 something.
4,-28 for minimum point

You mean the same Jan 2013 paper that had 64/75 for an A? Not likely. That paper was pretty easy. I expect 61 for this... just try not to discuss the exam because some haven't taken it.
