Is it possible for someone to draw it ? even if its not that accurate..Okay, so f(x) = 1 + (2/x+1)
The +1 is a vertical translation, and you already know the shape of the curve 1/x, in that regard, (x+1) is a horizontal translation of -1. And the factor 2, is a stretch.
As for the range, 2/(x+1) will never be zero, so think about where the curve tends to as x tends to positive and negative infinity.
The domain, X belongs to the reals, but can't be equal to -1.
