Can anybody share techniques or advice on AS and A2 physics?

Hi guys,

I'm Kevin Ram from Malaysia. Next week, I'm gonna sit for A2 physics, A2 maths and A2 chemistry exams. And I'm resitting for AS physics. I need help on answering the physics questions. I've tried referring to a lot of books and did exercises but the physics concepts are really hard for me to understand. Am really worried now.

Can you guys share some techniques of understanding the concepts, and answering paper1,paper2,paper3,paper4 ?

Paper 1 is just doing all the pastpapers that u can afford to do. Paper 2 also, also need to know some definitions.
Paper 3, just look at the experiments that u have done during the years and know how to plot graph, table etc correctly.
Paper 4 , gota learn all the equations, its the main importance.

well the best thing u can do know is sit with one paper with the mark scheme
and try solving by taking little halp from the mark scheme
and before this u need to be fully prepared for the syllabus
p3 will be quit simple if u know how to take the readings , making tables and some simple maths
if u have doubts abt any specific question lemme know abt it

If you are appearing in june this year i have little advice for you however if you are not i would recomment you to solve not only past papers from 2002-2009 but attempt previous topic wise past papers and even questions from books refrenced in the physics syllabus.. and try to get into the concept and think about every possibility which you could have been asked of when doing a question not just what is asked...

Stop guessing and study , as nothing is going to come from out of the syllabus

Well.... first of all get ur hands on a copy of syllabus. Learn All Definitions, formulae and try to get through with all basic concepts. After that, the game comes to Past Papers, I believe that if 1 solves all papers from 02-09 WITH PROPER UNDERSTANDING, he/she will get an A for sure.
thats what i did with al my subjects in AS n m doin the same with A2 as well...

Hey guys..thanks for your advices. Actually, i knew most of the formulae but i don't know where and in what situations to apply it. But, i've started reading several physics reference books to understand the concept behind those formulas and it's now working....

I've tried several past years Paper 1 and got above 30 in each paper. But, its not safe mark yet. Need to read and practice more. I'm now with the aim to finish all the chapter before the exam starts.

And I'm having some difficulties to answer Physics Paper 4 applications related to communications. Any advices?

abt communications u go through the telephone thinggge!!!
my sir told its very important
then u need to know abt the graphs
and modulations!
thats all now if u have any specific doubt lemme know abt it!
