Salam.

I am giving my AS currently in May. I am giving ONLY AS Math this may. I have yet to give P3 and M2 (A level Math).
I was planning on sitting for them and Further Mathematics FP1 and FP2 together next may.

Is that allowed? A friend told me its not, if I'd had known I would have sat for P2 and P3 this may :p

Are you giving Edexcel board's papers? Even if that is, you are definitely allowed to give both exams in the same session.

Then it's definitely allowed. I'm giving them in this session.

Oh, are you sitting for A2 Math AND further math it in this may?
as in the current running examinations ?

Achcha btw, if you have already completed your AS, then can you tell me what the mark sheet looks like ? :p
Does it contain the indivgidual marks of all my papers and components or does it only include the marks and grades of the sujects I take?
Because I'd really like to know what I got in my Chemistry paper 33 .

Also, given that they don't give away marks of individual components, is there any way I may find out them ?

Thanks for the reply btw. If I get above 95 % in Mathmetics in AS (P1 and M1) then I will try and give P3, M2, FP1 and FP2 together in May 2013

Do tell me if its a bad idea or not.
My math teacher says I am capable but i need to work my butt off for an A in FP1 and FP2.

No, I haven't done my AS. I'm giving the whole A'levels together. As far as individual paper grades are concerned, you do get to see them as they are posted to your centre. But they are not printed on your grade sheet.

Thanks for the advice,

so given that I get 95% above in Math in AS, do you think it would be wise of me to attempt Further Math?

Further Maths has no relation with your grade in Maths. They are miles apart. You can begin studying for it next year, if you feel you can do it, then so be it. But you'll know what to expect once you have a taste of it. My observations will merely make it up for you. But I know this that it is very difficult to complete the syllabus of Further Maths in one year. So only exert yourself for the subject if you think that its worth it.
