Can you switch between Core and Extended paper...

The title says it all ...
I actually wanted to give Core (Paper 2 from chemistry)
Its a non beneficial subject for me because I wouldn't need it for Alevels so I wanted to go for the easier option, although I applied for Extended

Is there anyway I can change from Extended (P3) to Core (P2) ?

well..that's not possible now..it's too late..or even if it is you may have to pay fine..
and are you aware, if u give core, you'll get no more than a 'C'
