Chem Ppr 62 Help !

hey there,
i've jst finished my chemistry paper 62. we were actually asked to write the smell of ethanoic acid. i wasn't sure of the answer and just wrote NORMAL.
Though i found out that it is odourless.
well i mentioned normal, would that fetch me mark ?? :S

Thats not true. Ethanoic acid has a 'sharp, vinegary, pungent' smell. I myself wrote 'No Smell' which is incorrect.
Sorry, i dont think either of us are getting any marks for that.

Its an IGCSE Chemistry examination- Paper 6 (P6) is alternative to practical while P62 implies variant 2

well you failed to specify what the ''normal'' is , so the examiner will take it be a lack of detail. So you lose the mark!
