Shouldnt ethane be a little less than 120 because of the double bond? I write 118...will they mark that correct? Also I wrote triOgonal bipyramidal...will I be penalized for that?

They don't penalize for spelling mistakes as long as it doens't chagne the meaning of the sentence.

Secondly, it should be acceptable. I think the range is from 116-120 or sth.

As per I think... Organic solution...

2,3 Di-Methyl But-2-ene is also correct imo.
Since 2 moles of the SAME ketone are forming i.e Propanone/ 1 -one

I attempted it, following the correct method but then screwed up somewhere. I got around 92 and 7% lol. After some Googling, I found out it should be almost 50-50.

Since it didn't say one MOLE of a product, it's assumed that it was ONE TYPE of a product, as it is in all the previous papers.

Either way, both the products are possible, and have 1 organic product, so they're both correct.

I asked my Chemistry Sir and He said ‘2-methyl pentene’ is correct…

I didn’t ask for ‘2,3-methyl but-2-ene’ but even 2,3-methyl but-2-ene sounds correct as this also gives us 1 organic product!
