For P4:

In J.10/42 duration was 1hr 45 min and there were 8 questions.
In N.10/43 duration was 1hr 45 min and there were 11 questions.

Therefore In J.11 in 2 hours there would be 9 to 10 questions.

Hi, how did you predict the topics for p2?
quote="kahynickel"]No. You cannot predict the exact paper pattern but the topics can be predicted easily for both P2 and P4.

For P2:

1- orbital overlap
2- PV=nRT and kinetic molecular theory
3-Numerical for Kc + Equilibrium
4- Alkenes reaction with hot KMnO4
5- Period 3 oxides OR group 2 reaction with water

For P4:

1- Born-haber Cycle + LE comparison
2- buffers
3- Hess's Law (AS)
4- Splitting of d-orbitals ( go to Q.4 JUNE 2007)
5- Group VII
6- Catalysis
7- Condensation polymerization VS Addition polymerization (go to Q.7 JUNE 2008)
8- Amino acids, proteins and their classification in support booklet
9- Amines
10- Enzymes + ATP
11- DNA fingerprinting + proton-NMR OR working of HPLC
12- Passage on rock-munching bacteria OR environmental questions[/quote]
