Paper 2
Question 5 (a), the calculation is bugging me! And as far as I think the ms is wrong, because there are other two misprints.

Yes, the answer given in the marking scheme is wrong (since they did not divide the number of moles by 2).
2 moles of HCl react to form 1 mole of CO2, hence:
Volume of HCl = [(25/1000)(1.5)/2] * 24 = 0.45 dm^3 = 450 cm^3.
